Construction Progress Report-Oct 14, 2015 - The Foundation Work

Here are some images of the foundation work stages that took place this past month for my new pottery building.

- A view of the construction work for making the footing forms for the basement, kiln room and garage.
- Pouring the cement footing. The work crew is busy keeping up with the flow of the cement.
- The footings are all finished and ready for the foundation walls.
- The delivery and setup of the foundation forms.
- The work crew assembles the basement wall forms.
- The forms are all in place for pouring the basement and foundation walls.

- Work on the foundation continues with the water proofing, grading, foundation drainage and stone work.
- The excavator fills in and tamps down the fill for the garage and kiln floor areas. When done, we will be ready for the slabs to be poured.

- The foundation walls and cement floor slabs are all complete. Now the carpentry work can start.
